| So I got this email that said "If you don't post you will lose your xanga site." So, I'm posting. | | |
| I guess must of you know Rachel didn't have twin boys, just one. Marcus Isaiah Ballinger was born April the 18, 2008 at 8:15 am. He weighed in at 9 lb. 9 oz. (same as Brittany) and was 22 in. long. He has already grown alot. Right now I'm sitting in my cousin Rosie's kitchen in Virginia we are on our way to Washington DC and then on to Maryland were the company that Dad works for is having a conference at a camp on Chesapeake Bay. It's time to go to bed. Good-Night | | |
| Eating strawberries with Tostito Crispy Rounds and Tostito Salsa Con Queso dip at almost 1 o'clock in the morning. All by your self, every one else has gone to bed but there I sat and thought as Remy "Um,um you really got to taste this. First a bite of chip with dip, then strawberry, then chip with dip again. Um,um what would you call that flavor". It might have something to do with the clock pointing past 12 o'clock midnight. Really I ate part of my snack listening to Mom and Jonathan talking. This evening Rudy, Jonathan, Isaiah and Rachel went to Victoria to get Rudy a new pair of boots. Mom went to bed with Dad and left me up to watch the kids. When the guys got back Mom got up to say goodbye to Rudy. Thats why we were up so late cause they got home late. A little up date on my summer. I did alot of things this summer that I had never done before. Like driving, going to summer camp, spending two weeks with Ruth, having Jonathan gone the entire summer, taking a cake decorating class, starting a business, going to a KCM conference, being all alone in a room full of young people I did not know worshiping God, staying alone in an apartment with two kids (who like to stick things in their underwear) in the middle of Dallas, go to a movie theater twice once a drive-in and eat gelato as the sun was setting. Something else really exciting thats going to happen is RACHEL IS GOING TO HAVE TWIN BOYS in April. We're all excited. The strawberries and chips are calling. | | |
| Earlier this evening we watched the movie FACING THE GIANTS. It is about a high school football coach and his team and the giants they have to face. The way they take Bible stories and relate it to football makes for a interesting movie. Tonight while I was watching it was the first time I ever cheered out loud for any game in a movie or on TV. FLYWHEEL was the first movie made by the people who made Facing The Giants, they have improved. You can really get into this movie, I did. A little advice from David. When I get excited you do not want to sit beside me because I poke and hit (not hard but often). I was so bad he moved. This movie has a funny side which is good. The song that I have on my xanga The Voice of Truth by Casting Crowns is on the sound track of Facing The Giants. A little on the subject of Timothy and Brittany, the other day when they were here Timothy was "helping" Mom make noodles and Brittany wanted to go outside so Mom opened the door to let her out when Timothy said "don't go on the road Brittany don't go on the road," like a good big brother. Last Friday Timothy cut his hair so they had to shave his head, the next morning when he got up he felt his head and said "it grow alittle". That day we were at a arts and crafts show in Sweet Home and when they were getting ready to come to see us Timothy put on a bill cap and said "I hide my ugly head from Mamaw". | | |
| Ever since we had heard about these huge chocolate kisses Dorcas and I have wanted to have one. So this year after Valentines Day when the candy was on sale we bought one. Then, late one night we ate it. We had asked Jonathan if we could use his camera to take pictures of the kiss. He took pictures of the kiss AND of us eating it and made us promise to post them. So here are the pictures.
Before we got hold of it.
Now we have it.
Taking a big bite.
Have you ever eaten too much chocolate?
After our late night snack. Today the Pooles came over and we had a Valentines Tea Party. The Saturday we were going to have it on my Grandpa died so we didn't have it then. I didn't eat very much at the party which was at 1 o'clock so around 5 o'clock I was feeling very hungry and then I realized that we were so busy getting ready for the party that we hadn't eaten lunch. Isaiah and Rachel came over today. Brittany is being potty trained and today she didn't wear a diaper and when they left she hadn't wet her underwear once yet today. The last few days I have been doing yard work and cleaning out flower beds. Tuesday morning I was weeding around a myrtle bush on the west side of the lane when I started picked up a bunch of grass to shake off the dirt when part of it moved. I dropped it. I HAD JUST TOUCHED A SNAKE. I jumped up and ran for the house. I was not wearing shoes. There were two snakes. Brown on the top and white on the bottom. Jonathan and Mom killed them. Since then I have not done much yard work. | | |
